I've decided that with the size of the clan as it is that its about time we host a SIEGE! tournament. Unfortunately, there will not be monetary prizes this specific tournament, and it will just be a function to help get the clan members active and more of the game polished. I still have plans for a tournament with real prizes later on when we can get a larger number of people together.
That being said lets move on to how the tournament will play out:
Your assigned Team members will be random in this tournament, allowing you to get to know other members better. I feel this will promote teamwork, and help unstack the teams. If you have an absent team member, you may invite another friend to your team, as long as they are not already registered in the tournament on another team.
Each team will face another team once over the coarse of a week. The two teams with the highest Win to Loss ratio at the end of the matches will go on to play head to head, which will determine the final victor.
For example: Team A, B, C, and D are the only teams in the competition. Each team fought each other once. At the end of all the matches the scoreboard was as follows:
Team A - Wins: 1 (Beat B) - Loss:2 (Loss against C and D)
Team B - Wins: 2 (Beat C and D) - Loss:1 (Loss against A)
Team C - Wins: 2 (Beat A and D) - Loss: 1 (Loss against B)
Team D - Wins:1 (Beat A) - Loss: 2 (Lost against B and C)
This means that Team B and C would now go head to head in a tournament match up which would then decide the ultimate victor.
For a game to be officially tallied a replay MUST be sent to me. If a replay is not sent to me, I can not judge it to determine the winner and/or if there was exploiting involved. If a team is found of exploiting they will be removed from the tournament. If you think that a tactic of yours may be considered exploiting, please message me on these boards, perhaps even with a replay of you performing this tactic, and I will let you know if it is or not.
Simply post "Signing up" in this thread, and we will open a different thread later for discussing how the rules will work exactly.
